Date Posted: 05:26:25 03/06/09 Fri Transport for London (TfL) is to repeat last year’s campaign that alerted car drivers to the risk they pose to motorcyclists and the ‘optical effect’ that makes bikes seem further away than they really are. The ad campaign is based on findings from a psychological study that found those tested regularly through motorcycles would take longer to reach them than larger vehicles. Chris Lines, Head of the TfL’s London Road Safety Unit, said the campaign “Drivers should look out for motorcyclists in all situations, especially during the commuting hours, when a high proportion of collisions occur.” [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
