Date Posted: 05:25:20 09/18/09 Fri Bikers in the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea need to be aware of a new road hazard… cyclists heading the wrong way down one-way roads. The government has accepted a proposal by the borough to allow cyclists to cycle the ‘wrong’ way down the streets. All that is needed is a sign saying ‘except cyclists’ bolted to the existing no-entry sign. This is in addition to the existing cycle lanes on a number of roads. So keep your eyes open for cyclists heading straight at you. A similar scheme has been in operation in Cambridge for some months. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
