Jen Dick, 20, from North Cockerington, who works for Honda Racing, took up sand racing in November but said she is “hooked”. Jen said: "My bike is too small for me, which is why I don't do that well. But those boys better watch out next year because I'm getting a bigger bike – and I want a trophy." Describing sand racing as being like 'riding on ball bearings', Jen added risks can be kept to a minimum by respecting other riders and people on the track.
