 According to analysis of claims data* compiled by Bennetts, 14th March is the most dangerous day to ride a motorcycle.

And if you see a Ford Focus, give it a wide berth. The Focus has taken the place of the Vauxhall Corsa as the car most likely to be involved in a collision – closely followed by old “favourites”, the Ford Fiesta and Transit.

The five most dangerous dates are:

14th March
2nd May
3rd May
25th May
2nd June
