Cumbria Police have unveiled their latest weapon in the battle to improve road safety for bikers… napkins.

Thousands of napkins will be distributed to roadside vans and cafes, featuring the slogans ‘Bikers Don't Crunch After Lunch" and "Dead Tired or Just Dead’.

Assistant chief constable Graham Sunderland said "We hope that by targeting people at the roadside with our safety messages, we can prompt them to take a little more care, and prevent further collisions from occurring."
