 BMW are looking to beef up sales of their newly acquired Husqvarna motorcycle brand by about 30 percent in 2008.

Husqvarna, which posted sales of about 12,000 bikes in 2007, was purchased to make BMW’s range more attractive to younger customer groups as well as develop their presence in the off-road and supermoto sector.
