Subject: Craig Jones honoured by local community

 Craig Jones is to be honoured with a memorial tree and bench on the estate in Northwich where he grew up.

“Craig was very well thought of, and part of the reason we want to do this is that we wanted to show that anyone, regardless of background, can succeed if they are determined and motivated,” said Police Community Support Officer Barbara Billington.

Jones – who died during a World Supersport race when he lost control and was hit by another bike – was runner-up in the 2005 British Supersport championship and was named young rider of the year in 2003.
