Subject: Thunderbird wins best cruiser award

 Triumph’s new Thunderbird 1600 cruiser has been awarded the “Cruiser of the Year” award for 2009, by US-produced title, Cycle World.

Triumph’s Paul Stroud said “We hope this is the first many awards. We hope that the Thunderbird sets new standards in the Cruiser class, and to receive an award from the biggest magazine in motorcycling, published in the land of the Harley-Davidson, is a fantastic boost.”

Demonstration rides are being made available on the new machine.
