Subject: Gloucester bike charity gets vital donation

 Severn Freewheelers – a group of motorcyclists who give up their spare time to run a free out of hours courier service for hospitals in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, North Wiltshire and Herefordshire – has been given a vital donation of £1,100 from the Gloucestershire Keep Fit Association.

The money will allow the charity to continue their work in delivering blood, X-Rays and patient notes in the region. Three bikes are piloted by more than 30 volunteers who work on a shift-system.

Freewheelers volunteer Ian Nie said “We rely totally on sponsorship so this is fantastic."
