In this particular case, his point is completely pointless. He states that the image is a graphic demonstration of what happens when you speed. Where as he doesn't mention that it is also a graphic demonstration of what happens when someone, with no bike licence (and by definition, no approved bike training) or insurance, rides a bike very fast in an area they don't know! His answer is to ensure that speed cameras go up everywhere - except where the accidents are actually happening! In the area of north Wales, the counties with the speed cameras are not finding speeding and accidents reducing at the same rate as the counties with no speed cameras. It is almost as if the speed camera was not really a part of the equation?! :) Lets hope he finally gets sacked soon! [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
