Date Posted: 05:31:01 06/20/07 Wed A 71 year old, taking out a new motorbike for the first time “died of excitement” according to a coronor. John Parsons suffered a heart attack on his 125cc Honda and fell into the path of an oncoming car. An inquest was told the bike was delivered the previous day and Mr Parsons was “very excited” about riding it. Recording a narrative verdict, coroner Mary Hassell told the hearing: "He went out doing something that he had wanted to do for so many years. In some ways, what a way to go."
