hello, my anulment of marriage is on process, and im planning to marry again .does my exwife have the right to harass me even if our marriages has been nullify?..she said to me that if that girl a filipina If sya ang tuutloyan ko .does she has the right to ask a deportation from uk gov.?

i am a filipina. my problem started when i graduated from college. i have this college boyfriend who i love so dearly and loves me back so dearly too, when my aunt who is in alabama give my cellphone number to his boss. this boss begun calling me everyday and then visit me here in phil with my aunt had a vacation here. i told him that i got a boyfriend who i love so dearly but becuase he admire me so much he was willing to do evrything for me just to get me to marry him. but i always refuse his courtship until one sunny day my mother met an accident on a car and was rushed to the hospital she was in 50/50 condition cause her brain was affected she had a blood clot in her brain which makes her comatose and was confined for 2 months in the private hospital. when mom was ready to get back home our bill was 387000 pesos and i had no money for that i have ask relatives and friends to help me but no avail till i called my aunts boss and tell him everything tthat happen and he was more than willing to pay the bills. i was in a tough decision and i have a big debt of gratitude to this so call avid suitor.until one day i agree to marry him in alabama usa hoping that one day i will learn to forget my pinoy boyfriend and love my husband in the future. so he filed for a fiancee visa for me which was approved and we marry in alabama usa. we been together for 2 years here but still unlucky me i have never learn to love him despite of his kindness to me. i have everything i need and i tried to teach my heart but my heart follows its beating...

now i want a way out of this relationship. a friend told me that if im going to filed a divorce for my husband i will be deported back in the philippines because our marriage is still 2 years old and that i have to wait that our marriage will be 3 years old so i could have my unconditional visa which would permit me to stay in the usa even if me and my husband dont work our relationship. is this true???? if this is true can i marry my pilipino boyfriend and bring him to usa with me after i got my divorced????? ples help... i hopeu can help me...

Hello, I have a few questions and a few suggestions for people wanting to get married in the PH.
I met my fiance'in Korea. She went back to the Phillipines to file annulment Nov2006. it was done in April2007. It cost us a lawyer for almost 3000 USD, she payed half and I payed the other half while we were living together here in Korea. She has got her red ribbon April also from Malikyang(wrong spelling).
We are comming acrross the issue if we should get a fiance visa or tourist visa OR spouse visa if we get married there, because I will leave in 5 months back to the US and i heard it was hard to get all this done for her in the US.

Im in the army and my company comander will not allow me to go there to get married because he says the Army and US court will not recognize us as spouses by legal tendor.
Also the issue with the anullment, will it be legitiment in the US? We have a 5 month year old son together, will that be enuff for evidence? We also have Chat History on YM and I just took leave there in July to visit my son and take care of any paperwork that needed to be done for our son.
Which would be fastest and easiest way to get married and bring my asawa to the US?
For other ppl wanting to know if the Phillipines support Proxy Marriage..........NO!!!!! If you heard differently, it will not be legal or processed with the NSO

If you are capable of obtaining the anullment and it has been signed by the L. Govenour and has the legal stamp needed, and you have the capacity to marry signed, then.....
You should Marry her in the philipines no matter what your boss says...You should then file a k-3 visa for her once you are back in the usa.

Hi there, i am unhappy because my very good friend has been waiting three years for his fillipino girl friend to come to England. He has sent thousands of pounds out to her and paid for her and her two daughter's tickets for them to come to England and she has given him one excuse after another, saying that the Embassy would not grant her a Visa. Well he has now sent her the deposit for a house in the phillipines and she has moved in to it with her mother and two daughters, and she now says that she had a Visa issued in January 2007 and that she cannot come untill her daughter's have finished school on the 23rd March and also that there is only two Flight companies that leave where she lives, and that they are always fully booked. He sent her three thousand pound for her and her daughters tickets and she says that she has had the tickets for over a year now, and that she is allowed to keep changing the ticket dates. Every Christmas she says that she is coming to England to be with him, but she never comes, so now she says that she and her daughters are coming on the 9th or 16th of April 2007, i feel so sad for my friend as he really thinks that she will come. She said her Visa was granted in January 2007, so how long will she be able to stay, that is if she does actually come, i really have my doubts as this has gone on for so long, and she has had thousands of pounds from my friend and he has worked eighteen hours a day, seven days a week for the last three and half years to give all his money to her, he is sixty two and it is making him ill now, please help me, as i cannot watch my friend carry on like this, he is a good man and does not deserve this kind of treatment. Do you think she is just getting what she can from him, and should he just forget about her, as she has let him down so many many times and his family have disowned him because of this woman. Please what can i tell him. For God's sake help me.

SHE IS DEFINITELY JUST USING HIM. IT IS OBVIOUS SHE IS USING HIS MONEY. I pity this guy, he should use his head. There are many filipinas who are good natured and not materialistic. He should look for one if he really likes to marry a filipina. Please tell him to forget this girl. I wish he could find someone who is worth loving..

I know that divorce is not allowed in the Phillipines, but does anyone know if a Filipina resident outside of the Philippines, married in the Philippines but to a foreign national of the country that she now resides, can initiate and obtain a legal divorce in the country which she now resides. Will it be valid there ? And secondly will it be valid in the Philippines.

I have met and been with a filipina from Cebu and I would like to marry her. However she is still married in Cebu. She came here on a tourist visa and remained. My question is can I still marry her here in the US without her having a divorce. I know there is no divorce in the Phillipines. We would marry and then I would try to obtain her residency here. I have not been able to get a awnser on this. I have called lawyers and have been told different things. I have read post on www.ph.gov that say I can still marry without her getting a divorce here. It is hard for her to divorce here since she has no social security number and also hard to prove residency requirements Any advice is apprecitated. Thank you

It Is sad for to me to answer this because im sure you love her. First of all, It is illegal for any filipino to remain here on a tourist visa, and so therefore getting married while she is here would also be against the law, but even if you do, when you go to the immigration to get legal resident status they would defintely turn her down and deport- due to the fact that she could not prove her divorce document from the phils. Im sorry but they are very strict on immigration and proving a divorce is a requirement.

Thank you for the response Ray. Yes we are close both in our 40's. I am Hispanic and from New Mexico and was married for 20 years so this has been so different for me to deal with. I saw a divorce lawyer and he said she needs a social security number or a tax id number both of which seem unatainable. Also the need to prove residency of 90 days here (in AZ). I do not know what to do? ? Last I did was write a law firm in Las Vegas?

Your girl friend then needs to be in the phillipines to apply for a spouse visa whether it be married or defacto.For defacto you need to show that you have had a continuing relationship for 12 months or longer.you cannot apply for a different class of visa if you have tourist visa.if your girl friend has exptred tourist visa she runs the risk of deportation and exclusion from further visa applications for 3 years. I married a girl from Phillipines last year and still going through immigration red tape.good luck with it. ps legally a defacto marriage is just as recognizable as full marriage so my advice would be to collect as much evidence of your relationship as you can ie photos together, social pastimes together, committment to each other, finacial affairs together including joint bank accounts and bills in joint names etc.immigration cannot discriminate against your genuine defacto relationship. she needs to go home and apply with you as her sponsor from the phillipines, best wishes bill

im in the same boat, but what i heard, which i know everybody hears different but i was in the u.s.embassy once and was told that if the citizen of the phillipines tells the court that her/his spouse was not doing there job as a wife/husband that an annulment can take up to at least 6months which sounds better than the options, we got. does anybody have any other advice or information?

There are 2 ways inorder for you to get your filipina fiancee. 1)you come to the Phils. and get married then you file for a petition for her to come with you in U.S.A. which takes at least 6 months waiting time or 2) File a fiancee visa for her which will take longer than 6 months. if you intend to get married in U.S.A. GOOD LUCK!

Oh by the way the cost of the annulment depends on the lawyer you will get. I know one who paid P180K and took her 10 months. I have mine filed in March and will have a pre-trial in Aug but didn't pay that much. I hope you'll get a sensible lawyer. Good Luck!!

Hi everyone. I just want to say something that I think everyone should know. GOD IS REAL. If u don't believe this u are really crazy. I cannot discriminate but when it comes to my God he deserves to be thanked, worshiped, and praised. He died for all of us, so that we may be forgiven and saved from our sins. No one else was chosen to do this but him and he didn't back down, because he knew in the end he would be the most high God, no matter how badly beaten, spat on, cursed out, talked about, etc.
Everyday I think we should just thank God, for the simple things he does that we barely even see, like waking us and giving us strength to face another day. All of these things are not possible without God.

I read the book "Spring's in the Desert" and i remembered what the man of God, George Mueller of Bristol England said to a captain one day. He said, "My eye is not on the dense fog but on my great God who controls all the circumstance of my life." Focus your eye of faith on to the Lord and not on to the obstacles. When I ran a search for K-3 Visa, it lead me to your homepage. I just wanted to ask if you will be posting your experience and information about the process. Yes our k-3 visa went smoothly. It took about 9 months for my wife to recieve her visa from the time I filed for it.
Your husband will 1st file a I-130 form with the nearest service center then as soon as he recieves the notice reciept he will file all the same paper work with the center (notice receipt will explain) for k-3 visas. It is important to have 4 copies of all your paperwork and to send only the copies. after your husband files the I-130 he will wait to get the reciept, then follow the instructions and send all the same paperwork along with the I-129f form to the center in the instructions to file for k-3. They use the same I-129F form for fiancee but when married it is used for obtaining the k-3.

Thank you so much for responding. I have gone through all the instructions, finalized and summarized it and I did end up with the same instructions you have stated. I really needed that 2nd opinion to confirmed our plans about this INS process. We are ready to send the I-130 to Ins but my husband thought of dropping by in 1 of the INS office nearby from where he lives. And the guy from that office was , I think misleading him and gave him wrong info. Then I thought of having him take a look at your reply, though he was still leary, I told him "I trust instructions in black and white and statements from couples who have gone thru same process than verbal". Anyways... I still insisted on the original plan (and I don't think he can do anything about it, lol)and your respond really boost me up and gain my confidence on going thru this process. Again, more power to both of you and God Bless!!!

First of all, I'd like to introduce myself to you,ray. I'm a friend of lhyn. :) We've been officemates here in Sun Micro for several years. I've learned a lot from her insights on bible passages and regular conversations about christian faith. We did share some laughter and tears. She's a good person. I'm proud to be her friend.
