I have viewed several neighborhood sites before finding this one and in all of them there was plenty of participation from each neighborhood except ours. What a shock, why would I expect anything from the burnouts and sellouts who are probably to fried to operate a computer or moved out to leave the neighborhood in the hands of the spooks who naturally turned it to shit. This is a predictable end to a great area, all you had to do was stroll Avenue N in the early to late 80's to watch all the drug dealing bums like Timmy Black and Richie Borgia, Andy Cardello, Joe Cannon staggering around like a bunch of mindless zombies to know the end was near. How about Eddie Fahey and Walter Hines, Brooksy? All brain surgeons who are doing federal time for an armored car robbery. Any more Joe Cannon or Mike Sumby sightings? What about another notorious dust muffin Joe Mac? Timmy Whalen you out there?
What a shame, a neighborhood left with a miserable past and no future.

there is a picture of the bridge and it looks exactly as I remember,however it appears the removed the wreck when they renovated it.I understand now it is to be replaced and removed.
