Did anyone watch the TV Land awards last weekend?? They are also re-running all this week. It was pretty fun to see the Married with Children cast reunite, and they honored Syd and Marty Kroft. Trudy Wells was there for Knotts Landing. Also, MASH was honored, and most of the cast was there, even Alan Arbus. The fault lies not in our stars but in ourselves.     - Have you been to Glen Cove lately? I lived on the block next to (I swear to God) St. Rocco's church, and there was quite a lot of that. The church had an Italian mass every week. At least 25% of the folks on our block made their own wine. It got a little weird when the guy in the house behind us was playing the theme from "The Godfather" on his accordion. - I'm not too concerned. It seems that the Yankees get off to slow starts. I think one year the Yankees lost 4 of the 1st 5 games vs Boston, but finish strong by winning the season series and the division. PB...I can't believe your Jets fell for the biggest hype in the draft. Congrats on your new QB, who has played a grand total of like 15 games, and 14 of which were against the "mighty" PAC 10 including Berkely and Stanford. I have never seen a more overrated QB in all my years. I'll eat my hat next year if he show something, but I seriously doubt he'll make any impact.
