I have some sympathy for Stephen's views regarding the furore over non-existent immigrants, but I think that those who believe their health may be endangered by the introduction of a new mast are justified in complaining.

I think that if the health concern is such a major issue, surely there should be a case for retrospective action on the Longride mast ?

Sorry, Stephen, that this is turning into a 'mast' discussion. Your remarks concerning asylum seekers have validity, though the reply referring to benefits of upwardly mobile new residents bears consideration.
I do not know whether or not objections were raised, on any grounds, to the Longridge mast at the appropriate time, but if any danger to health is at stake, perhaps local residents should look again.
