Date Posted: 02:30:43 02/18/07 Sun if there are any doubts about the dangers of tetra or microwave phone masts, in addition to the tetrawatch site look at www.starweave.com/page11/html or the powerwatch site.these masts have caused serious problems for people with types of epilepsy etc and in some cases the mast has had to be moved further away from schools. the huge mast at the top of longridge ave is surely enough for this area, we dont need any more! >>We live further up Hempstead Road and will let people >know what is going on. Date Posted: 07:07:02 02/18/07 Sun Yesterday (Saturday) I delivered 70 copies of the notice to other houses including all of Arlington Gardens, most of Hempstead Road all of Heathfield Ave, Saltdean Vale from the bus shelter to the newsagent and back along the other side. About 10 houses each side of Lustrells Crescent and Saltdean Vale halfway along to Mount Drive. I was hoping to cover Greenbank, more of Lustrells Crescent and all of Saltdean ideally. If anyone is able to cover these areas and more, it will increase awareness. Hopefully this will generate a maximum number of objections. |

Date Posted: 08:52:43 02/19/07 Mon i've looked at some of the websites giving the dangerous aspects of these masts and it seems to me utter lunacy to be putting a mast within yards of residential property.due to the slope of the ground either side of the Vale it means that many bungalows will be on the same level as the top section of the transmitter! surely if the mast has to be built at all, presumably to cover the "dead" reception area along the Vale, it could be sited at the end of the vale near the tv mast.this mast covers a similar area for television signals and is a bit further away from housing. >>Yesterday (Saturday) I delivered 70 copies of the >>notice to other houses including all of Arlington >>Gardens, most of Hempstead Road all of Heathfield Ave, >>Saltdean Vale from the bus shelter to the newsagent >>and back along the other side.
