] Date Posted: 00:38:41 04/21/07 Sat In reply to: Jefff 's message, "Re: Telscombe Tye - Years of indecision by Telscombe Council" on 11:32:56 04/17/07 Tue I agree Jeff whilst we may not agree with a persons views their personal life is not relevant in any reasonable debate. Whilst I am no supporter of Marina Pepper's politics I consider hard work and enthusiasm for the local communities benefit by anybody something to be welcomed. Can I return this conversation to the point that I made originally. That is Telscombe Tye. Interesting to note that at the Telscombe Town meeting on Tuesday 17th April Liz Lee, who is in fact the Mayor admitted when talking about the recent history of the Tye that; "We could have done things better" When she talks about "We" she means the council and more importantly the main group on that council the Lib Dems. Now I am partisan and oppposed to the Lib Dems but when she actually admits that they have messed up the whole bunding and rights of way issue it seems that its time for a change to the council. Please vote on the 3rd May and dont vote Lib Dem. THANKS [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 05:46:35 04/23/07 Mon I second that...don't vote for Lib Dem it is a complete joke party. As highlighted by the two clown members mentioned in this post Lee & Pepper. Sorry if that upsets the more sensitive people on here. |

Date Posted: 08:17:22 04/23/07 Mon Whilst I agree that in the end the politicians are to blame for the problems there have been with the Tye,(as the Council own it), it has to be remembered that it was the lack of quality of the technical management at the time in 2004 that created the real problems - ie the South Downs Joint Committee. The Liberal Democrats' opponents will certainly say they will do better - but then, political opponents always do. |
