[ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 07:06:10 09/08/08 Mon After experiencing the lack of quality environments for our children to be cared for in Saltdean any parent would welcome the first class facilities that are available at Boomerang Kids, I have first hand of both sights, if you have any doubt of the excellence that is provided at the Barn I am sure that they would be very happy to show you around as I am sure Terrapins would also then you can make your own decisions. In these times where the majority of parents work and even if they don't it is clear that a certain standard is expected to prepare our children for school and not to collect their children unexpectedly early to find them watching TV. This is certainly not what I would expect from a good nursery but exactly what I found when I collected my child from Terrapins. This is intended to be a dispute regarding planning I hear you say but I feel that it more a dispute defending business and not in the interest of the local community at all, So we all know what we are dealing with here, Terrapins was approached to consider selling their land for the extension and funnily enough they agreed! For the princely sum of £40’000 for land/lease that didn’t belong to them /had expired over TEN years ago, so I leave it to you to make your own minds up regarding the intentions of this notice on our community website! Date Posted: 03:19:21 09/09/08 Tue Don't know much about this but what that area needs is a local sports centre not more nurserys. The Lido should be renovated and extended to be a local sports facility, the dive of a pub also to be used and part of the park. You could have a nursery in the sports centre which would be much better and the area is crying out for it. BUT we won't get this in Saltdean as we don't have enough tax dodging chav's who doubtless justify a sports centre more than us. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
