Depends whats on it. If its nothing confidential, give it to a chairty shop after clearing the memory or take it to the tip as they dispose of them.

If its like mine and is full of utter filth, I would smash it up with a hammer!

My first inclination is to reply in the same humorous manner as your good self; but, truth is, I've taken several computers, and working televisions, to the local tip, because somebody told me that Charity Shops do not take electrical goods.
I have an old scanner and stuff like that, which must be good for spare parts.

Thanks, Gary.
I took a scanner, a couple of modems, all working order, and a computer to the tip. They all went into a huge metal container. One lad told me where to throw them, and when I moved away to chuck cardboard elsewhere, he shouted after me, pointinng out the bits I'd left there. I shouted back that I could only do one job at a time, and he said I should have done that one first.
