My family and I (husband, 2 children aged 3 and newborn and two active parents) are considering a move to Saltdean - having been born in Brighton and then moving all over it is time to come back to Sussex!
Whilst I have a lot of family in the area I don't know anyone actually in Saltdean so would really appreciate some opinions on the general area and what facilities are like.
Many thanks!

Hi
I know it's been a few months since you posted your message but just wanted to say my family and I moved to Saltdean last December. I had only been to Brighton once before we moved from London but am very glad we did. Saltdean is a lovely place to live and the people generally are very nice. I hope to get to know more people in the area in the coming months as its difficult to start from scratch in a new place where you don't know anyone. I hope if you have taken the plunge and moved you have found it to be the lovely place I did.

Good luck.

Hello there,

Yes, you should move, it's a brilliant place for families. Plus there's a brilliant Children's shop callled Cheeky Monkeys on Lustrells Vale. They have a lot of groups and classes aswell a fantastic range of wooden and traditional toys.
