It,s nice to see some modern idea`s coming into saltdean. The park certainly hasn`t altered apart from the very nice mini golf course shutting which was a popular sport. Date Posted: 09:59:42 09/21/08 Sun this mail is in response to the "annonymous concerned mother" regarding who replies to the mail about planing permission for the barn. now i have read the letter from glynis from terrapins a few times and first i note that herself and myself for that matter have included our names....why.....because this is a public forum to put a matter across....why on earth people reply and bad mouth someone else but then remain annonymous.....if you have spomething to say then say it and be seen and heard..... as has been noted elsewhere on this site the barn also has a watching tv period called chilling out time.....surely as a mother of a child that goes there you know this..... as for the reasons for the original mail going on here...well i think that is very plain and obvious. there was no consultation what so ever...the notice that was meant to be in the park was mysteriously taken after the first day.....this did not give anyone a chance to even know what was going on and to voice an opinion. My stance is that if the barn want to apply for planning and after all objections are heard it is given then so be it. At least people were consulted and given a chance to reply to object or consent. Then that way it is fair. So hopefully now that the planning office has made the application void a new planning application will be made and everyone who has anything to say can be heard and the council can make a decision based on those voices and of course their own guidelines. I would like to finish my little rant in reply to "anonymous concerned mother" to just say to anyone that come on this site looking for a nursery for their little ones....the barn looks a fantastic place and i am sure the parents of the children attending (we have many friends who go there) will al say it is a great place......but please do not just judge on a building.....revels (terrapins) is a very warm and friendly place for all children to play , learn , interact , develop and learn the necessary skills to take this world on. Our first daughter has just started school from doing 4 years at nursery and our little boy is in second year there. We would not have changed a single thing about revels. A childs bedroom is not a tidy place , it is full of dens and little hiding places , all the children at revels know this and find the nursery a home from home.....they can be who they want when they want.......play in a group or just on their own.....my wife and i have never seen a sad face in there...every child is given the special time to become who they are at their own pace. So rant over.......thank you revels.....thank you glynis and all the staff.....for everything and anything.....we hope everything works out.
