Subject: Back after 30 years

Hi there! I am posting this from Italy (I'm Italian and I live some 25 kms North of Milan). I used to come to Saltdean in the 80's as an exchange student (we went to school in the nearby Rottingdean) and I am planning to come back to refresh my memory and go back in time this coming March. It will be just a quick daily trip from London, also including a visit to Brighton. I remember we used to get on a bus (they were green at that time, if I remember well) to go back and forth from Brighton, leaving from the lower end of Saltdean's main street (somewhere near the pool and/or the park). Can anybody help me with bus information to and from Brighton railroad station? Any ideas on cab fares? Your help will be appreciated. Thanx. Ciao from Italia.

You should be able to sort out a bus from that site.

no 27,47, 12 and 14 from brighton station will take you to Saltdean, although 27 or 12 is probably the best for you.
fare is around Ł2.60 I believe.

Saltdean is still a lovely place and I don't think much has changed since you came in.
