Connor dumps a pile of paper in front of Wes and raises his eyebrow at the little heart doodles

Wesley walks through the kitchen where Angel is sat with everyone else as Lindsey marches in front of them

Fred leaves with Wesley
LORNE

ANGEL
I don’t think so. I think this can work
WILLOW

SPIKE

WILLOW

Gwen sneaks in via the back door

WILLOW

GWEN

Gwen tosses an envelope to Angel
GWEN
Codes in there – seems Denzel’s not such a bad guy after all
ANGEL

A good criminal never reveals their secrets. Besides I’d probably lie to you and get you killed anyway.

INT – APARTMENT BLOCK – LATER THAT DAY
Willow, Wesley and Fred enter the building.
WOMAN

WILLOW

Fred nudges her
WILLOW

WOMAN
(laughing)

Willow gives the most obvious and awkward fake laugh ever known to man

The woman hands Fred the keys

INT – MANSION – DAY
LINDSEY
The meetings set up. It’ll be an other world press conference
ANGEL
Other World?
LINDSEY
They have dozens of dimension to cover, they’re not gonna hold it in Los Angeles especially if they know you’re here. There’s some huge apocalyptic master plan going down and they’re about to gather their sponsorships from all other dimensions
GWEN
What does that mean?
LINDSEY
It means they’re basically going to get everyone’s funding whether it be power or money then they’ll use it to destroy them and rule it all themselves, getting their status back to how it was before you arrived.
ANGEL
When does this take place?
LINDSEY
Tomorrow night
CUT TO.
INT – APARTMENT ROOM – DAY
WESLEY
Do you feel anything?
Willow holds her hands over the chalk outline
WILLOW
Definitely murder.
FRED
We sorta got that far already
WESLEY

WILLOW
Oh, ow!
FRED
Willow?
WILLOW
They were already dead when they got shot
FRED
What?
WILLOW
There death was slower – much slower
**FLASH**
Five Years Earlier
WOMAN
Mornin’ Glen
GLEN
Mornin’ Miss
Glen continues up the stairs to his apartment. As he enters he loosens his collar – the heating is incredibly high.
He goes to get a drink of water – grasping his stomach in pain after swallowing.
Downstairs in the maintenance office the landlady has several empty boxes of rat poison in storage.
Later that week, Glen is sweating and shaking in his apartment, hot from the unchangeable heating and floor ridden and sick from the tainted water. He’s at such a point of desperation that he reaches for his security gun from the table.
Grasping the cloth to pull it from the table, as he’s unable to stand from pain. As he has hold of the cloth his body gives up. He drops dead still grasping the cloth as the gun tumbles to the floor and sets off on collision.
BACK TO NOW.
WOMAN
He deserve it, they all did!
The Police pull up outside the apartment block
WESLEY
All? You’ve done this to more than one person haven’t you?
CUT TO.
INT – MANSION – NIGHT
FRED
So they said they found another four bodies in the freezer. Apparently she spent some time in an institution in the fifties. She was insane – said they were all ungrateful and they mistreated her home.
SPIKE
Another sane night in the life of Fred then?
FRED
How were things here?
SPIKE
You know, average, might be the end of all worlds tomorrow
FRED
(sigh)
I should wash my hair
CUT TO.
EXT – WOLFRAM & HART – FOLLOWING NIGHT
Gwen, Lindsey, Angel, Wesley and Willow are stood outside the main sign at the entrance to Wolfram & Hart
LINDSEY
Gwen you’ve got an invite you’ll be safe. The rest of you don’t even try to come in you’ll be killed straight away
WILLOW
So what do we do?
LINDSEY
You need to keep the gate from closing behind me. I can guarantee that the second this goes down they’ll try and kill us – we need to make a clean get away.
ANGEL
Let’s do this
Lindsey and Gwen slip their invitations in the side of the block – large swirling portal opens at the side and they step through. Willow holds the sides keeping it ajar.
INT – OTHER WORLD – NIGHT
Thousand over thousands of people, demons, spirits and monsters are gathered at the event.
GREGOR
Good evening ladies and gentlemen
Lindsey and Gwen look at each other nervously
GREGOR
It is with great pleasure tonight, that I welcome back former Wolfram & Hart front man, Sir Lindsey Macdonald
GWEN
Sir?
LINDSEY
Long story
Lindsey steps up to the stand as the crowd’s roar – literally.
LINDSEY
Thank you Gregor. It’s great to be back on the right team – as I’m sure you’ve been informed I’ve kept very active these past few years. But tonight we’re not here to talk about me, we’re here to talk about Wolfram & Harts big plan for the end of days

LINDSEY
I’m sure by now they’ve told you all that by donating your power and funds you’re donating to the end of the earth dimension and all good and caring life within it. The donations vessel is currently making it’s way round – don’t be stingy now people.
Lindsey smiles at Gregor as almost everyone in the crowd places money and dark magic into the jar. It finally makes it’s way back to the front.
LINDSEY
Wow you are a generous lot tonight. So let me remind you of the plan, Wolfram & Hart invite you here under false pretences and take all your power so they can use it against you and destroy your worlds to create their own
Silence
GREGOR
What is he doing?
GWEN
(smug)
Beats me
LINDSEY
Oops what I meant was…no that is what I meant and I present to you now, the master minds, the senior partners.
Lindsey pulls down a curtain as Willow’s portal opens. The senior partners (who are surrounded by all the other executives of the company, become a gas like form leaving the execs behind. They leap into Lindseys jar as he leaps out, closely followed by Gwen.
The demons et all tear up to the Wolfram & Hart stage and literally tear everything remaining, into tiny pieces.
CUT TO.
EXT – LOS ANGELES – NIGHT
Lindsey and Gwen fall to the ground from the portal. It’s dropped them on the roof of Wolfram & Hart.
GWEN
That was intense
LINDSEY
I know.
Lindsey smashes his fist across Gwens face
GWEN
What the…?
END OF PART THREE
EXT – WOLFRAM AND HART ROOF – NIGHT
LINDSEY
Come on! You didn’t think I’d give you half of all this power did you? I barely know you
ANGEL (O.S)
But we know you
Lindsey spins to Wesley, Willow and Angel stood ahead of him
LINDSEY
(laughing)
So you busted me
ANGEL
No.
Fred steps out from behind the stair way door. She’s holding a pile of papers and looking tearful.
FRED
Probably not the best Idea to leave your plans to destroy my friends under the mattress of the bed I’ve been sleeping in.
Willow and Wesley have shock look. Fred as an ashamed look. Angel doesn’t want to judge he looks straight at Lindsey
LINDSEY
So, what you think you can stop me now that I have all this power?
Lindsey opens the jar as the senior partners begin to form – Willow raises her hands and forces everything back into the jar. She lift’s it into the air as her eyes white out. Lightning dances from sky as thunder roars and the clouds swirls in pink lights, the very foundations of the building begin shaking as the jar become a solid yellow crystal
LINDSEY
No!
ANGEL
Looks fragile
Angel takes it from Willow and chucks it to Wesley
WESLEY
Could break easily
Angel places it on the tip of his foot and launches it off the building, it crashes to the floor shattering into millions of solid pieces
Lindsey runs to the side almost falling off in his desperation. He’s actually hysterical.
LINDSEY
Don’t look so disappointed Fred you knew I was evil
Gwen gives Fred and sympathetic stare as they lead off. Angel remains with Lindsey
ANGEL
You’re not evil Lindsey. You’re just selfish.
Lindseys laughing as Angel holds him over the edge
ANGEL
You’re not clever. You’re obvious and pathetic and now you’re nothing.
(beat)
You’re alone
Lindseys nervous laugh drops to nothing as Angel’s dark eyes stare right through him
ANGEL
Wouldn’t it be unlucky if I sneezed right now.
Angel throws Lindsey onto the floor of the roof.
ANGEL
Stay. Away.
Angel jumps down from the roof as Lindsey remains on the floor, useless and alone in the rain.
