AMERICA'S MISS PAGEANTS* will hold the 2010 National Pageant at The Amoss Theater in Bel Air, Maryland. National dates are June 22-26, 2010.

The Pageant is now seeking married ladies to compete for the NEW! AMERICA'S MRS. title. YOU COULD BE THE FIRST TO HOLD YOUR STATE TITLE and compete for the title in June!

If you are a married lady between the ages of 21-60 and will not hold a national title with any other Pageant as of April 1 of competition year, you may qualify to participate.

All participants will receive a beautiful rhinestone, embroidered banner and crown.


We are also seeking TEEN (13-18) and MISS (19-26) contestants.

Subject: How do you store your large statement earrings? I have been putting them in the sectioned craft boxes but the really big ones do not fit. I want to be able to protect the stones from falling out. Any help would be appreciated.

Does height matter for Galaxy? How about hair color. I know there are always exceptions but it seems like tall, dark,exotic girls always win. Is this a trend or because thats literally what the girls that compete look like?

Are there photos to view those who did not place?

Hello Galaxy fans! I just wanted to stop by and say a few words. I have been receiving phone calls, text messages, and emails by the dozen about this situation. It has nothing to do with me but Hayley is my sister queen and I ADORE her! She is so sweet and down to earth and I am overjoyed that we get to share this year together along with Jen and Emma representing a pageant that we hold in very high regards. How I feel about this situation does not matter but I hate to come on here and find all this hate and anger displaced. This board should be used for all of the Galaxy contestants, staff and queens to unite and talk about POSITIVE things. Hayley is doing so many great and wonderful things for the system and I think she needs to be recognized for that but whoever posted this photo on here should not have because they probably knew what it would cause.

In the world of pageantry there will always be controversy with photos. I model swimwear and I have had people on this board in the past post pictures and say that I looked like I was a porn star!! In a traditional full coverage swimsuit! (same as what gets posted on the Galaxy website from the swimsuit photoshoot) So, I know that comments like these are hurtful.

Some will think photos like these are fine and others won't. However, it is not up to us to decide. Yes, as someone mentioned things in the US are a little different than the UK but it is not up to any of us to decide what's right or what's wrong, whether we live in the US, UK or anywhere else. Everyone's opinons will differ. I don't think anyone is bashing her photo because they are jealous or want her title, I think it's because some people are just more conservative and we are all raised differently with various morals or standards and many like to express their views. Some will think her photo is cute and it's all in good fun and others will see it as offensive. But either way, we are all different and that's ok. Let's not take Hayley down in flames.

I would like to be able to come on here and see ladies offering tips, help, advice or talking about the next prelim..better yet, what all of our state, national and international titleholders are doing with their titles. I would love to see the moderator take all this down, so we can restore peace to this board. Everyone in the pageant world has seen this photo. I think it's time to move on now. I am sure Hayley's title is safe and she will continue to rock it out as one of the best Miss Galaxy's in history :)

I'm thinking about competing in the Midwest pageant in March, can anyone share any info about this pageant? ie: is it a good pageant to spend my money on? Is the director honest & trustworthy, etc? Thanks for your help!

Subject: The internet has come to be a place where people are allowed to say whatever they want with complete anonymity. I think it gives children and teens a false understanding of how the real world works. If you can’t say it to someone’s face and take responsibility for your words, then you shouldn’t say it.
