I like this guy and we used to be good friends. Well a couple of months ago I asked him out and he said, " We're good friends and I don't see why we can't just leave it at that because right now were really tight." I asked him out because all of our friends said that he is constantly staring at me, so I figured he was interested. After that we still spoke but it was always awkward. Then about a month ago we hadn't been speaking for a couple of weeks and then he suddenly started speaking to me. We're in the same leadership class although he's in grade 12 and im in grade 11, and lately he's just always staring at me. Then two weeks ago, we were hosting a charity dinner for cancer and our whole class was there. He came and sat beside me and then got really close. He's very shy and yet he kept looking me in the eye. Then last weekend, we were hosting the opening ceremonies for the hockey provincials and i was sitting on a bench by myself. He came and sat by me and like our class was all hanging around. Then he was staring at me really close, then stared at my lips. It was like we forgot about everyone else around us. The next day he was staring even more then usual but in a different way. I know this boy had liked me for a long time but didn't want to go out for some reason and its been so long. His sudden choice to speak to me and to get so close, I am sure he wanted to kiss me but didn't, i guess he chickened out. What should I do? I'm going to see him at school on Monday and I know that we'll have another incident like the recent two, where we get really close. I just don't know what to do. I thought I was over him but now I know that I still want something more with him. Help!
