Subject: any advice please,winning someone back Author: #gemma# [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 15:42:55 02/16/04 Mon -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i was with a great fella for three years who i love to pieces. we had a good relationship but like everyone else we had our ups and downs. we went thru a very bad patch and decided to call it a day. i wasnt treating him very well and i never appreciated all the things he did for me until i lost him, now im lost without him,i feel in many ways like ive been thru a death. he has a new girlfriend who hates me, she is alot older than me and him and not being biased but i dont think they are well suited.i think at the start he went out with her to fill the voids as we spend all out time together and i think he felt lonely as i did/do.we still talk alot and meet up for dinner and get on well, but i miss him so much, i feel like ive lost an arm.i cant look at another fella, i realise non would treat me like tom did, he was so good to me.i feel like i could never tell secrets to anyone else like i did to tom.i have tried abit to tell him how i feel but because i have no clue how he feels,i dont want it to be bad timing. i dont think he will take me back because of the way i treated him but how do i win him back, i really think he's the one for me.im lost without him but i dont want to seem like im spliting up his new girlfriend as i would prefere this to happen without me and for us to get back because it was right. what should i do?how do you fight to get someone back? I am in almost the same situation as you, except for I initiated the break up, because I found another guy I thought I could be happier with. I realise now I made completely the wrong choice, and have stupidly hurt the people I love. Not to mention, my ex now has a 'shag-buddy'. He has told me he loves me, so I thought I'd ask for him back..and he isn't sure anymore. I will find out soon enough I'm sure, but one thing I know you must do, You HAVE to tell Tom how you feel. if you don't, he'll never knows, and he could stil feel the same way. If he doesn't then you will have to move on unfortunatly, but atleast you'll know for sure. You can't give up, just let him know you still love him, offer to change your ways, as I did to my ex. What scared me the most is, as I was comparing ours situations and their similarities, I noticed something, we both have the same named exes. I fought for my Tom...now try and fight for yours!
