This is what i told her : "It depends really, i mean does he only contact you on the bus or does he like talk to you in school/college because he might just be using you to get the attention on the bus . but on the other hand he might feel like on the bus is the only time he can be alone with you and for that reason he tries to be flirty. (yesh!... i feel like such a loser) So after that no other insident happened, but then a week ago we got paired up in this group of 6 (me and 5 guys) to work on a presentation project... During this time we would goof of together tell others stories... who we liked (tho he didnt mention any1) and so on... (he did seem interested tho in how the guys that i use to go out with looked) and i was starting to like him... then his other firend also told me that "(blank) likes you" (after school..) i didnt noe how to respond so i didnt answer (stupid me!!) when i was leaving that day i was walking outside of skool and "Blank" knocks on the window upstairs where he was and waved to me... (he liked like an idiot but it was sooo cute!) On the day we were presenting he didnt seem interested in me anymore and tried to avoid me as much as he could... They split up, but basically, they intend to get back together as soon as his ex calms down a little. And he tells me all this, as a friend, but I can't tell him that I really like him and want it to go further. The added problem is that we're both air cadets, so we have to see each other in a 'professional' environment twice a week, so if something goes wrong, it's not like I can just avoid him. See, I have a huge crush on this guy that I go to school with, and I have ever since my first year of college. When we first met, we had German class together, and we wouldn't talk much, but some. Now, every time he comes to class, he sits next to me. A lot of times, though,he'll fall asleep in class, just cuz it's so damn boring! Anyway, whenever he's not sleeping, sometimes he's really close to me, like out elbows are touching,and one time we were even close enough to KISS. He always compliments my clothes and stuff, and just says nice things to me that make me blush. I compliment him too when I see occassion. sorry I'm writing so much! But anyway, he's invited me to parties and such before, but whenever they happen, something comes up, like the party ends up not happening. So, I started inviting him to come do stuff with me- but the same thing happens- like his phone will get bad reception where he is, or something. So, whenever we try to hang out outside of school, something bad happens. There was a big snowstorm on V-day, and our class was cancelled, and he asked me out for coffee-that's the only time we've ever hung out outside of school. I said yes, then he said "NO WAY!" I was disappointed. So now I try not to like him by saying "I don't like Sebastian, I don't love Sebastian!!" It worked. While this process a boy was liking me. he asked me out. I told him I will think about it. The next day I said yes. So now I don't like my ex-bf, but I love my new bf! I'm afraid there is no way to get another person to like you back. This can be unfortunate in some circumstances, I know. But, what you can do is feel things out. Throw out a couple of signals towards him and see how he reacts. If he tried making plans with you then he obviously had some interest in you at one point. Ask him for his screename or post something on his facebook wall, and see what he says. If he is skeptical about why your asking for his screen name, play it off like a friend thing. But flirt enough where you can give him the oppurtunity to reciprocate his feelings, if he is in fact feeling the same way. This is all good, but the best and probably most cliche' advice is dont obsess about it. You'll find that you'll be much more successful and happy when you don't overthink things too much.
