What makes you think that if you two were to be together he wouldn't cheat on you. It takes a lot of time to get over a first love but if there is no trust in the relationship then there is no love. It seems as if you're his backup. Of course he cares about you but he'll never love you. If he did he'd give up all the girls up for you. He'd be devoted to you. Having sex screws with your mind...It makes you blind on what really is going on in the world. As how other people see's it, it's lust that makes you believe your in love. First of all, ask yourself, why you love him(and it better not be because he cares about you), secondly, would you want to spend the rest of your life with him?
