After this most recent episode, I gotta vote for Marc. Just what's gotten into him? Abandoning Kate at the function and then socking her when she objects. As long as it's been since Carrie died, there's no excuse for him. Garth's not the one who belongs in jail. It's Marc. Even if that means Chris needs to go live with the Tomlins.

The student/teacher love of Harry and Laura. That was just so bold a story that I would never have expected it in a Sim story. And letting it become a situation we as readers could sympathetize with and support was even braver. Seems a shame they have now fallen apart.

The death and aftermath of Merle. He was such a warm, loving Sim while he was in the story. And he made Rosy so happy at a time in her life when she could just be retiring from affairs of the heart. For him to be suspect in death makes me sad as a reader.

I'd say the teen scene. Ever since Tom and Adelaide broke up, they seem to have been on the back burner. Also it seems like young Chris could have some kind of storyline going on with school now that he's a child. He seems to get forgotten in Marc and Kate's shuffle.

For characters I haven't gotten into yet, it's time for some Kate love. That girl is fabulous. So very grounded and yet very much marching to her own drummer with her pink hair and all. Plus her chemistry with Laura is a treat. If you could do road stories with Sims, Kate and Laura would be naturals for one. Maybe a road trip where they go wild to try and get over their broken relationships with men in Sageway.

As I've mentioned before, I'm not a big fan of the most recent character additions. Both Rachel and Maggie could have been passed over as far as I'm concerned. Maggie's story could still redeem itself. But Rachel's going to have to pull a rabbit out of her hat in order for me to embrace her place in this story.

Well, Marc needs to fall for striking Kate. So I'd like to see Kate press charges against Marc for assault. What that would mean for Chris I don't know. But if that put him in a foster home and out of the story, oh well. Not like he gets much love anyway.
Oh and speaking of not getting love, is Daniel going to have to follow Roxy to Pahala in order to get any? Maybe we could have Adelaide come on to Dan in order to get revenge on Tom for the breakup. He needs more to do than just hanging out with his nan all the time.
