I also echo your comment that all kids could benefit from "a chance to experience an SSC in their lives," which is just what led Elaine Hanauer Ravich to suggest Fresh Air Fund donations . . . and what evidently led us to open our wallets and checkbooks ($2,000 and counting). How inspiring.
