I can't wait to go back and shoot more video's for Sleeper Kid's
World! Thanks for everything, SK and it was fun chillin' with ya as
well! Hell, I'm looking forward just to SEEING more videos myself!
I'm feeling a little better here, thanks for asking :)
One thing I'd like to say about SleeperKid's World:
I cannot describe how ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY I was by the SKW videos
that I had a chance to preview with SK on his computer.
I can say that certain companies I have worked with have excellent
technical quality, or great wrestling action, or neat editing tricks..
but I was ABSOLUTELY AMAZED by the creatitivity put into the camera
angles, editing, use of music in video, and visual montages.. I have
never seen anything quite like it before, and cannot explain how
inspirational it was to me on a personal level, as a new producer
who's hit a lot of rocks in the quest for improvement. The creative
edge put into the SKW Videos is absolutely out of this world, what I
saw rose above just being the typical wrestling video... it was
ARTISTICLY AMAZING. The trailers were extremely entertaining, and I
loved the use of music along with the amazing camera angles captured..
There was a portion of one of the "Robbery" series that absolutely
amazed me... It portrayed a woman walking down the street with a
stolen case. The camera angles would speed up and slow down, and along
with the music, it amazed me what some creatitive editing could do to
make a simple piece of footage so dramatic.. It reminded me of a scene
from Charlie's Angels or something simliar... But the part that really
amazed me was when the woman locked eyes with her opponent inside of
the house that she was "breaking into" - how the camera angle ran down
the gun, into a closeup of the women's eyes locked in a staring
battle, circling around them capturing the tension of the moment, the
music building up to the moment.. and then "click" - the bullet
catches in the chamber, the music goes silent, and then the action
commences. I also really enjoyed the outtakes, which even further
allows you to glimpse into how much editing was accomplished to make
the final cut, plus it really captures how much fun it is to work
there off the camera. Did I also mention that the picture quality was
great as well?
The creative aspect of SKW videos is everything and more that I'd
envisioned for KLV in the future... This is the first company that I
can actually say would have something to entertain not only a fan of
wrestling or domination, but also a fan of film and editing. If you
haven't seen any of his videos yet, what hell are you waiting for??
Thanks again to SK for an amazing, eye opening experience, I can't
explain how much it meant to me in words.
