Subject: Dennis Holly

Dennis Holly arrived to KDKA-TV2 about 1971 from Cleveland. About 1976-77 he left for Baltimore's WMAR-TV2 (KD's sister station is also in the same market, WJZ-TV13) in which he became the nightly anchor for that station's newscast shortly thereafter when it was a CBS affiliate (it's been NBC and now ABC over the last 30+ years). WIIC-TV11's former chief meteorologist Ken Phillips also went there where he eventually retired about 20 years ago. Mr. Holly left WMAR shortly after his arrival which has some details here: http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1715&dat=19800419...
