According to the photo on page 94 of (my book) "Pittsburgh's Golden Age of Radio", the original WDVE air staff members were Ted Ferguson (nights), Dwight Douglas (production director), Carolyn Smith (mornings), Jessie (afternoons), Don Davis (evenings)and Buddy Rich (middays). Photo and info from Jessie, with whom I worked at WHN in the 70s. When Jessie and Dwight went to WYDD, she was followed by Denise Oliver, with whom I worked at United Stations/Unistar/Westwood One in the 80s, 90s,and 00s. He's not pictured, but I recall my SCHS classmate Dan Kelley being (off air) music director.
