Those who know me know I worked a bit of radio here and there over a quarter of a century. I majored as a newspaper writer in college and finally achieved a full-time job with a daily paper. Would I go on the air again? Sure. However, it likely would be part-time, as I'm as secure as I probably am going to be for the time being. (It's not THAT secure, but I'm doing what I was trained to do, for a paycheck that allows me to have a home and think of having a family, on a shift that isn't TOO crazy, though it requires morning shifts and nighttime meeting.) Radio isn't easily purged from one's blood, though I probably would feel like Orville Wright or Charles Lindbergh being asked to pilot a space shuttle if I were asked to work a modern board.
