One problem with doing a dance show at Channel 11 was getting kids to schlep up the steep hill to the station
during snowy days. Then-cobblestone Rising Main Avenue was trecherous! Even we employees often had trouble making it. And, there was no videotape back then, so there was no "best-of" back-up opportunity. I remember we briefly did a quiz show hosted by Big Steve Risen called "Give It a Whirl." It was so hard getting audiences up the hill that the producer occasionally used employees as contestants. Of course, they could not keep the prizes they had "won." But despite all that, "Studio Wrestling" fans always found a way to scale Mount WIIC.
