Art Pallan had sort of a "charmed" career in that he spent it all in one town and only on two stations. I had the honor of working with him on a charity project and he was an absolute sweetheart of a guy. He could not have been more nice to everyone. That's probably why he lasted so long, because of that great demeanor.
