The windows overlooked Gateway Towers and the Hilton. The main studio was under the red neon KDKA sign.

The main studio had an small access door overlooking the larger of the two TV studios. Master ran between the studios. It was a long skinny room with equipment racks along the back wall. As was SOP at union shops in the day, master had a board at each end controlling audio levels. The boards the jocks used were slaves. Pot up all the way in the studio! Engineers rode gain in master.

The radio newsroom was just inside the radio entrance, across the hall from Ed & Wendy's studio. IIRC the music library was next to the newsroom.

From the elevator, radio was to the left and the TV newsroom was at the end of the hallway in the area overlooking Gateway Plaza.

To the right of the elevator was the corridor to TV MCR. Walking down the hall you'd pass the office on the left where some kid named Ed Salamon was always knee-deep in research, then you passed the videotape room where commercials, etc were played and where Group W Productions dubbed pre-satellite era syndicated programs. Then you came to the glass wall of TV MCR. The announce booth was to the left.

Editorialist Worth Seymour's office was across the hall from MCR.

As Maurice Chevalier once sang, "Yes, I remember it well." I may even have pictures.
