Thanks for posting this, Jeff. I never knew Jimmie O'Neill worked in Pittsburgh -- and it's clearly the same one, judging from the ad -- but then, I wasn't aware of WCAE's late-1950s attempt at Top 40 until many years later.

It's ironic, given WTAE-TV's reluctance to clear "Shindig" in its second season, that the program's host had a link, however slight, not only to Pittsburgh but to WCAE-WTAE.

R.I.P. Jimmie, and remember ... no matter what anyone says... ROCK ON!
