What a great story! I totally forgot about the time when they tried to jump to B94. A friend of mine from college loved their FM stint. I too thought they were great.
Can you imagine all the great air talent that worked at 1250 WTAE during those glory days? Its astounding for sure.
I never knew if they were really excited or cynical when it came to their short lived "Electric Video Show" that ran Friday nights for awhile on Channel 4.
