It was a complete waste of time, energy, money and the promotion department. I doubt if they gained a single viewer or a nickel in ad revenue.

But it wasn't the dumbest thing they ever did up there. That would probably be when Dave Chase (IIRC) decided that he wanted the place to be known as "the news station," and so, for some foolish reason, he decided that Studio Wrestling would have to go. Something about image, as though the 'burgh cares about such things.

Every bubbeh, zadyie, yaya and babushka still curses Chase for taking away their favorite form of entertainment. From their graves they curse him. And so do I.
