I would also like to possibly add Ed Romano to this list. He was a KDKA-TV2 videographer who died in the line of duty back in the summer of 1979 after being run over by a fuel tanker that was driven by a replacement worker at the old Arco terminal in Lawrenceville at Butler & 57th Streets, during a strike. Romano would appear on-air in testimonial promos touting Patti Burns. I do recall on the 6:00 newscast of the day he died, she tried to stay composed as the first segment of the show was dedicated to him. Days later, Jack Bogut eulogized him on KDKA Radio.
