Subject: Jean Shepherd on Pittsburgh radio?

Was Jean Shepherd's radio show ever broadcast in Pittsburgh? I recently discovered a number of his 1970's shows available as free podcasts. I know he was based in New York, but don't know if he was ever syndicated or on a network.
