Ironically, Group W's (and later CBS') KYW-TV in Philadelphia was for a long time the polar opposite of KDKA. KYW maintained an unmatched reputation as a revolving door through the 80s and 90s, and usually ran dead last in news ratings, even behind syndicated re-runs on the UHF stations.
