IIRC, Channel 11's problem with ghosts was pretty heavy circa 1973-74. It was about the time Channel 13 was installing their fork antenna atop Cardiac Hill next to Pitt Stadium. As a result, you could watch "Sesame Street," while the weather forecast was being given on 11. This was noticeable while watching from Bloomfield.
