Well, my friend, I'm afraid I can't help you with Jack or George's whereabouts. I can clarify that George was never PD of WYDD. The history is as follows (post Jack era). Mike Perkins guided the station through its "Prime Album Cuts" era - one of the most successful periods for WYDD - from 1981 (when I arrived to do nights) till late '82-early '83. Dan Kelley took the reigns during the "Pittsburgh's Heartbeat" (MTV w/o the picture) era following a brief PD stint by a dude that I can't remember - lol - (I know I used to call him "Moon Baby"). Then it was my turn - I programmed WYDD from 1984 (the Metro Music era) until the plug was pulled on the format in 1989. "Power 105" aired under the direction of Tony Florentino for a short time until Salem Broadcasting flipped it to "WORD - the Word of God".

George Anthony worked for Dan and me until he left for his family's business. Been a long time since I've heard from him.

I left Pittsburgh for a long successful fun at WJYE in Buffalo in 1991 thru 2006. I'm currently working at Star 102.5, Entercom's Hot AC in Buffalo on a part time basis. I am my mother's full time caregiver.

Rock on!

Mike McQueen, "The One Man Team" - 104/WYDD - 4/81-2/89
