Subject: Party Line

It is amazing how much I really miss Party Line every time I turn on the radio in the evenings and hear what is on the air. I remember when Ed King died and, if I recall, it was a very quick and surprising passing. Sort of like when Fred Rogers died somewhat suddenly, since most of us were not aware of his serious illness.
I particularly miss Party Line during the month of October when Ed would relate all the ghost stories. But, every night all year was just so nice to settle into bed and fall asleep listening to their wonderful voices or hearing their cheerul "good nights."
