It's amazing how things remain buried in your mind, then suddenly emerge. Early this week, someone said something that brought to mind the phrase, "Plunk your magic twanger, Froggy." I quickly remembered it from a kids TV show called "Andy's Gang" starring Andy Devine that I watched in the mid 1950's. And, that led to a memory of Andy Devine playing sidekick to Guy Madison in the 50's TV adventure show "Wild Bill Hickok." And, then I remembered the jingle of the sponsor: "Kellogg's Sugar Corn Pops. Sugar Pops are tops." Memories from over fifty years ago had emerged out of nowhere.
