Dave, One of the reasons there was so much of a turnover at that time was there was a couple of program directors. As is usually the case, as pd's come and go, so do jocks.

When John Borders replaced John Rook from late 1967 - mid 1968, Dave Scott, Tom Lee and Jim Quinn left. News Director Al Julius also departed. Rex Miller joined the station for a short time as did Paul Randall. A new lineup was set that included... Bob Wilson 6 - 10 a.m., Allen Dennis, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Johnny Mitchell 1 - 3 p.m., Chuck Brinkman 3 - 7 p.m., Todd Chase 7 to midnight, and Franklin B Forbes, midnight to 6 a.m.

When John Borders was replaced by Mike McCormick less than a year later 1968 - 1970, Fred Winston came on board from WKYC/Cleveland. Gary Gears joined from Armed Forces Radio in Vietnam. Kris Stevens joined the KQV staff from KOIL. Harry West joined KQV from WARM in Wilkes Barre, and Jim Quinn returned.

When Bob Harper replaced Mike McCormick (1970 - 1973), Jon Summers, Bob DeCarlo, Carl Eckels, Anderson Little, Jeff Christie (Rush Limbaugh), Perry Marshall, Larry Clark, Jim Carnegie and Timothy G Adams all joined KQV.
