Scott Mervis is doing a story about Dick for the Post-Gazette. He reached out to me, but had to turn in his story before we spoke. I'm glad he was able to talk with Jimmy Beaumont who spent a lot of time with Dick on the first Caravan of Stars tour in the fall of 1959. The Skyliners were one of Dick's favorites and he sent a note when they celebrated their 40th anniversary at Henry DeLuca's Roots of Rock and Roll.
