Looking through some of the posts again, the early stations did some 'crazy' things with presenting of weather and sports.
I remember a sports report done with a guy sitting at a bar and reading the sports from a newspaper like he is discussing it with the viewer. I think it was sponsored by a beer. The guy would actually drink a beer while doing the show. I believe that one of the guys actually got a bit drunk on the live broadcast. probably too much "rehersals".
